RV WindSkirt's Warranty only covers product purchased directly from us and not through one of our resellers. They have their own warranty.

Type of Warranty: Limited Lifetime Warranty

What is Covered?

RV WindSkirt exterior Skirting are warranted against original defects in materials or workmanship for the original purchaser of the product provided that:

  1. The product was properly installed on a personal R.V. unit (RV Skirting);
  2. The product is a genuine RV WindSkirt product;
  3. Warranty applies to the fabric and original purchaser only.
  4. RV WindSkirt recommendations were followed with regard to installation, limitations and specifications
  5. The Velcro Tabs are warrantied for 5 years from the date of purchase for manufacture defects only, and not for installing them incorrectly. You must follow our installation instructions exactly. If the Velcro Tabs separate from your unit, this is not a defect, this is due to incorrect install application, thus Velcro Tabs will not be replaced. Photos must be submitted for the Velcro Tabs that you are requesting under warranty. RV WindSkirt and it's employee's will make the final decision on the validity of your claim. RV WindSkirt does not reimburse or pay for the installation process under warranty. If you opted for a third party to install your skirting, make sure they provide you with a service warranty on their work. 

Who is Covered

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the above stated RV WindSkirt Skirting material and is not transferable.

Obligations to the Consumer

If you have chosen to use your own fasteners with our skirting, there is no warranty.

RV WindSkirt skirting materials do not stretch (are very dimensionally stable) and are designed to perform well with our directions. Be sure to use only genuine RV WindSkirt products in your project.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover?

This warranty does not cover conditions or damages caused by accidents, alterations, misuse, or failure to follow instructions for measurement, installation, cleaning or maintenance. In addition, normal wear and tear is not covered by the warranty.

Although the mesh has lots of UV inhibitors, all fabrics can lose original intensity after years of exposure to the sun. When exposed for many years in direct sunlight, all skirting can be subject to color fade, cracking or delaminating. RV WindSkirt considers these things normal wear and tear and is not covered by this warranty.

The obligations of RV WindSkirt skirting are limited to the replacement of material found to be defective. RV WindSkirt is not responsible for shipping costs or labor costs for measuring and taking the skirting off or reinstalling the product. If replacements are made under this warranty, the replacements will be made with the same or similar material.

With thousands of applications in harsh winter environments, RV WindSkirt Skirting has proven a useful life expectancy of 6 to 8 years. Velcro up to 5 years.

  • This Warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other written or oral warranties or obligations and liabilities. No person is authorized to extend or alter this warranty.
  • RV WindSkirt shall have no liability whatsoever for incidental or consequential damages.
  • Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
